有理. Middle East is the circle of influence of Europe.

Jerusalem as a sacred shrine is the cradle of the West civilization (biblical culture).  The Arabians and the Jewish people are predominately white & might share the same ancestor(s) thousands of years ago.  It is hard for China to play a significant role in this region.
