Decision: Rejected! (AEM, CAS alternate)
Stats:• SAT (Breakdown + Combined): 710M, 720 CR, 740 W (2170 combined; one sitting)
• SAT IIs (if any): 720 Math II, 770 USH, 770 Chemistry

• AP (place score in parenthesis): AP English Language and Composition (5), AP US History (5), AP Chemistry (4)

Subjective:• Essays: Can't comment on the quality since I hate reading what I write, but they were different (I use a colloquial style when writing).
• ECs: Model United Nations (Vice President 11th, President 12th), Debate Team (Captain 11th and 12th), Co-Founder and Captain of Science Olympiad (11th and 12th), National Honors Society (11th and 12th)
• Volunteer/Community service: Hospital volunteer (100+ hours)
• Teacher Recs: I would guess they were good. I waived my right to read, but I get along quite delightfully with the teachers that I requested to write my recs.
• Counselor Rec: Probably good since I love my counselor and visit her every day.
Other Factors:• State or Country: New Jersey
• School Type: Large public school
• Ethnicity: Asian
• Gender: Male
• Income Bracket: $200,000+
• Hook (if any):
Reflection:• Strengths: Essays, ECs, rigor of course load
• Weaknesses: GPA, test scores (in comparison to other Asians)
• Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: My low GPA and SAT scores for an Asian.
General Comments: Took me a while because I didn't want to post immediately after -- it'd be weird to be excited about a rejection. I'm not sure if the alternate schools actually read my application. To be honest, I wasn't surprised or upset. After 5 minutes of receiving the decision, my life was normal. But it's for the best! Good luck to everyone who's going!
Also, from the four school districts I know, only one Asian was accepted this year ED. Very strange. Oh well.
