in MD, cars made in '96 and newer only require OBDII scan, no one even touch the gas pedal, for cars made before '96, the car will be hooked to a dyno and a mechanic will drive ur car follow a SPEED curve displayed in a screen before him, not RPM. either way, u can only SIT aside and WATCH, nothing u can do.
