You can shopping in Chicago downtown area, Michigan Ave. is a street filled with shops. They are expensive, brand name though.

If you want something cheaper, you can go to Chicago premium outlet in Aurora. It is south of Chicago downtown, google "Chicago premium outlet", very goog outlet.
