Thanks but was I giving him the wrong message for

being quiet back then?  Because it showed him that others can say mean things to us.  He did get bullied at school a lot when he was in a public school. This year I put him in a private school and other parents who also switched their kids told me that he looks much happier here since they don't tolerate bullies and kids are better behaved. But I just don't want him to lose the ability to deal with these kind of kids.
