How many languages do you plan to learn? You can better use your time for other more important things. If you want to be a language scholar then Latin probably helps. Otherwise, it's basically useless. Who speaks Latin in this world? Though a lot of medical terms are Latin but we don't really need to learn Latin at all to learn medicine since it's so close to English.
