you can borrow from IRA. when you pay back, you have to

pay interest and prime. This is like you put your IRA to bond(you lend money to youself instead to other people). what the difference is you have to pay yourself interest. my plan is, after my son graduate, I will borrow from my IRA to pay off his student loan and then I pay myself IRA this 3-4% interest(student loan interest will be 6%) + the amount I borrow from my IRA.
