My experience is that many chinese go to体操,画画,跳舞,武术,

but very few go to team sports. In spring, you can see a few chinese kids in soccer and baseball team, but in winter very rare to see one in hockey team. Chinese parents still are very focus on academic side, less attention to sports. But a good sign is that more and more chinese parents realize the importance of social skill amd work to imporove it for kids. My two years stay-home experience helped my son's social skill so much that he has come out of his shell and become a very confident boy.
