one day the press says that Phoebe actually did it all, not Stella.
later Stella left to put together her name sake collection. she is actually quite good.
then Phoebe did Chloe from then on.
it was very feminine and beautifully done.
there was a saying, all of the fashion companies are copying Chloe and Lanvin.
later she got married and had her kids and did not work for a while.
then she accepted job offer from Celine.
Celine was quiet for a while, since the designer is just so-so.
Phoebe came in and the first collection ( last fall/winter) was a shock to the world.
it was all minimal. totally different from chloe days.
it was very directional.
now everybody is wacthing Celine.
Phoebe is a good designer and a good woman since she values her family and kids , as well as working hard, and being talented.
an article said she "never tries too hard" . always has an early vision on fashion trends.
