犹豫中, 应该搬到好学区吗? 艰难的选择

My kid will be in middle school this September. I can buy very new very good house in my area, but not in the good school district. In the good school district, I can afford only the low price house.

My school district is just a regular high school, not even on the national high school rink list.

I'm renting a house right now, and I'm first time buyer. I can buy house any where. But I'm under the pressure,

If I buy a house in good school district,
1. it's just an old house, I like new.
2. we may feel pressure since we're not rich family. Most families in the good area good school area are either richer, or having less burden than us since their house was cheaper when they bought it.
3. my kid has to leave her old friends and fit in the new environment. We also have to make new friends there too.

Do I worry too much? Have been thinking about this for months, couldn't figure out. Please share your thoughts. Thanks very much.
