回复:college choice
I've visited and known people in both schools. Columbia is slight higher in reputation, and being in big city NYC is a lot better than in small town Ithaca. NYC offers so so many activities, diversities in job opportunities, fine arts, restaurants and people. Cornell is also a good school and the campus is beautiful, but can be boring after a while, and the winter there is sooo long and depressing. No wonder the suicide rate is so high there. All people i know when went there can't wait to get out there. I think Columbia is in general a better choice than Cornell unless your daughter wants to be a nun. :)
