How to object to school redistricting

Our school district is redistricting now. Our elementary school will feed to another middle school, say B, instead of current school A.

The problem is the distance from our house to school B is much longer than school A. Moreover, school B's ranking is not as good as A (recognized vs. examplary).

We are very unhappy about this, is there any way to object? Besides these, is there any other considerations?
