The results: the excess calories become fat deposits in ur body. Most people think do not eat meat to loose weight, wrong, the protein will stay in ur stomach much longer and make you feel full. The sugar: any starchy thing and candies, and fine processed the fat( ice cream), are much easier than protein to cause wegiht gain. However you can not exclude fat completely from ur diet, because there are two fatty acids your body does not make, must be obtained from outside.But carbs are the best energy source for the body, it metabolizes fast/absorb easily by the body cells, is an excellent source for emergency situation--Hypoglycemia.However, when people get old, eat too much meat creates burden for the liver/kideny, so a balanced diet is best for maintain an ideal weight.
One way to control hunger and overeat is drink soup/liquid right before the meal, it "fools" ur brain by creating a false input signal of "fullness".
