Unlock phone adapter
This phone adapter is pre-configured for Vonage company, we will have to remove all these pre-defined configuration, or unlock.
Follow the steps below to unlock the adapter:
1) Connect both the phone adapter and the computer to your router and power on.
2) From you router, get the IP address for the phone adapter, make sure to check the MAC address if you have multiple computers at home. For example at my home, I have three computers, two voiceIP phones and one IPTV. In this example, we use 192.168.1.5
Alternate way to get IP Address:

# write down your IP address
3) Go to http://www.bargainshare.com/index.php?showtopic=87504
4) Download the software cyt 4.6 for Windows.
5) Unzip the software
6) Go to http://192.168.1.5 (this is to connect to your phone adapter, you will need to change to your IP address)
7) Log in with (case sensitive)
user name: admin
password: admin
8) Go to downloaded software and click the .exe and the unlock will be proceed in a DOS window.
9) Choose option 3 (type 3 and click enter)
10) Use Backspace to remove the predefined the IP address and enter 192.168.1.5, and press enter key.
11) Choose option 1 to unlock, press Enter key

Your device has several login accounts. The security-level for each is different. You should assign your device unique passwords to keep it secure.

Note: Some devices change the Login Name..

12) Test new password. Close the IE and reopen IE, go to http://192.168.1.5, log in with (case sensitive)
user name: Admin
password: Admin
If it does not work, try the following:
a: Power off the phone adapter and power on. and then test.
b: log in with admin/admin, and then go to http://192.168.1.5/update.html. Close IE and go to step 12).
Now the phone adapter is unlocked successfully.
