forward looking, while china struggles to maintain 8% annual growth, china's cancer rate will easily grow 16-24%. Within 10-20 years, much of china's wealth will be wiped out by oncoming health crisis and by wide-spread environmental destructions.

backward looking, like your sucker comment, yes, china's life span is on par with western country, or even a slight bit higher. But most people have eyes in their front.
