since looong time ago, mercedes designed their cars with a good consideration - wouldn't give you a chance to lock up your keys inside. you have to lock your car from outside with your key. initially people thought it's being so inconvenient, after many keys being locked up in other cars, people realized and admitted mercedes' engineers' smart thinking.
