Love doesn't have a price tag, but when the boy rountinely have stuffs more expensive than parents, there is something missing. I feel the same when I read about parents lavishly spend on their children to compensate for their absense as parents, when I hear the comments from the children "they just want to buy the most expensive stuff for me".
I truely believe children need to have the chance to establish themselves, by their own effort. If I want him use Aveda, I would not brag about it, would not stress it. I would just provide it as simple as a bar of soap.
