Active class participation will be part of the grade

I had a few chances to observe the classroom, and noticed her lack of interest in participation. After my talk with her afterwards on the importance of class participation, she tried to participate more, but her contribution shows lack of contents. That's why I want her to be aware that reading, like diet, needs balancing too.
