百万富翁都大多是拿B的。所以一点不想鼓励老二往A冲

This is a post from BZ. The fact (百万富翁都大多是拿B的) maybe right, but the conclusion has some problem. I'd like to clarify something by doing a simple math. Assume we have 100 people. 80 average B or below, 20 arerage A. Among these 100 people, 15 become 百万富翁, out of 15, 10 are from B (or B below) average, 5 from A average. So if you average A, you get 40% chance to be a 百万富翁, whereas you get only 12.5% chance to be a 百万富翁 if you average B. Which is 3 times less chance.

My point is, if you average B, it is not hopeless, but don't act like the grape is sour.
