Do you talk to him in English? Do you show him/read to him

English books? If not much, that's normal I think since there is not much for him to work on (by himself and on his own). And he may now a lot of Chinese then. Kids actually does not really need formal instructions according to some theory. Once he gets the environment, he should catch up soon.
