女儿的高中生活(1)：学习以外的事情--- Junior Prom。

女儿10年级，按说参加Junior prom还嫌太早，可是有男孩子相约，又是平时挺要好
的男孩子，我们犹豫再三还是同意她今年参加对方的junior prom，前提是她放弃她
自己明年的junior prom，想到她自己明年要面临的“繁忙”(各种SAT考试，AP考试
等等)，女儿同意了。决定了去参加今年的junior prom，女儿开始了一系列的采购
和预约。女孩儿Prom 所需的东西大体也就这几样：礼服，相配的鞋，包，首饰，以
及对方的胸花。其中礼服是最不好买的，要买自己喜欢的款式，合身还要和别人不
冲突，由于我们开始买礼服的时间比较晚了，所以可选择的余地比较小，带女儿去
家附近的mall里，女儿是一边挑衣服一边和朋友打电话，问款式，颜色，好不容易
自己挑中了一件，一问朋友已经有人买了这一款(唉，英雄所见略同？)，半个小时
后女儿和我商量不能在家附近的mall里买礼服了，要去远点的地方看看，于是我们
驱车转了整1天，4个mall，累得老妈半死，总算买齐了她要的礼服，相配的鞋和首
饰，包实在没看到合适又喜欢的，我也是实在没劲儿和她转了，就说你自己想办法
吧。

Prom的当天，女儿离开学校就直接去了发廊做头发，那是她自己和朋友一起预约的，
开销也她自己cover了，然后几个朋友又聚集在一个女伴家做指甲，化妆。之后男友
来接去了另一个聚集地，老妈也赶了过去照相留念，去Prom之前要做的除了照相就
是互相交换，佩带胸花和腕花。老妈实在没有经验，女儿给男友带胸花费了不少劲
儿，最后还是在男孩儿妈妈的帮助下完成的。junior prom 不同于senior prom，去
prom的有时是几个男孩儿一起租一辆limo，有时是男孩儿自己开车带女孩去，女儿
的“男友”有驾照，所以决定自己开车带女儿去(说实话，老妈我着实不放心，可也
没办法)。看着一对对英俊潇洒的绅士和漂亮青春的淑女们驾车离去，我感觉女儿真
是长大了。心里有点酸酸的。要不了多久她就要离家了
