以前提到我儿高中11年级时写的一篇作文----“我见到的最美的墙纸” 写的是他学习及背诵中国古诗词的感想。因诗词卡片贴了满墙，看起来像墙纸。英文老师告诉他这是一篇很优秀，很与众不同的文章，可做申请大学的主essay. 他按老师的话去做了。

写essays要有灵感，要用心去写。以前我也提到我儿申请西北大学时写的一篇essay是关于找什么样的人物（小说中）做roommate. 他想找family guy里的Brian做roommate.
Brian是个很喜欢喝酒的小狗。儿子写的很有趣。

Essays要有自己的特点。同样题材要从个人角度去写，不要给人此文有似曾相识的感觉。
