she is just lack of interest and motivation

not agianst you. do you once a while have to do something just for the sake of doing it? i think this is her problem. she is not interested in study, or not realize how important to get As in AP tests. she is pressured to study for parents and peers. I guess it shouldn't be a strange expenerice for most parents here, as we all came from china. let her do something that she really cares and loves, and encourage her to put her 100% into it. when she really put her efforts, remind her to use this altitude for other things too. you can help her find interest in her study, or hopefully, she will learn responsibility one day. by that time, she is matured, like most of adults, study and work for their responsibility.
