In my son's school, the worst punishment for school is to call parents. Recess detention is not the worst, so, you'd better not to hope they call you next time. my son lost many recess during his lower grades due to self-control problem, usually talk too much, but i know school has zero-tolarence on fighting. your daughter's report card just showed this teacher's opinion. in most school, kids have different teacher each year. a 2nd grade report card won't affect anything. but make sure watch your daughter's behavior, teach her to follow the rules, and be sensitive to other people's feeling. a six year old has a long way to learn.
