From your tone, it sounds like you don't think your daughter does anything wrong? Have you sit in the classroom, or talk to other parents who have done so, about your daughter?
My pre-schooler receives notes from time to time from his teacher, everytime, I talked to him seriously. You may think in your minds, he/she is too young to completely control them, but it's not the excuse to NOT to let them know what is the expected behavior.
Sorry my tone might be harsh, but you need to do something, other than just blame the teacher or the principle. Also, most of the time, as far as I know, teachers don't expose the conflicts b/t principles to parents. Are you reading too much, or too eager to find some excuse. You need to teach your daughter to be respectful.
