美国小学 with 70% up african-America students. People always think they couldn't get good education there. It is wrong. I checked the math books they used. I was surprised with what they learned in elementry school. I would say I didn't learn some of staff in China ( I got master before 1990). So I didn't send my son to any extra classes even his teacher suggested. I always tell my son: if you can understand all the staff in your book, you will be great. By the way, My son told me he doesn't need take math when he goes to colleage because he is excel in math unless his major is math. If anyone say the colleage teach very basic math because those students aren't in top 20% to 40%. Top 10% students will take the classes equal to China's colleages.
