i got my puppy when he was 9-week old and i work full time. i truely believe in crate training, especially for small dogs. once the puppy becomes familiarized with the crate, that will become his safe heaven. personally, i don't like paper training the puppy because it is hard to correct that behavior for the real house broken training. it is good to have two puppies so they won't become lonely, but two doesn't just double the work load, instead it multiplies by ten. please think carefully before you get two puppy as a first time pet owner. And getting a puppy will change your life forever because you will invest lots of love, time and patients. Good luck!
