Not that simple. He is a smart guy, respects facts, teaches me America way of thinking, and how to deal with arrogant people here.
However on the Tibet issue, I gave him the links of western experts on Tibet, suggested together to University of Pennsylvania to see the evidence of Tibet slavery ... facts, facts, only facts. I thought I knew him well enough to deal with him but shocked with his response...
Anyway, we are still friends and talk to each other again, but not Tibet. He told me that most American don't know and don't care what happen oversea and that they don't even know their own. They just believe what media says. I guess he may find out things are not as simple as he thought but don't want to admit. It takes time.
What I have learn is the gap is enormous there is a long long way to go for us.
