points gained by members can be way higher than 300x2, because of the medics. Esp. in infantry only maps, cmdrs get very high scores (so as many medics), in many situation, the efficiency and total # of medics will decide which side will win the game.
I could not precisely test how cmdr's combat performance affects its score, but I am pretty sure that cmdr's direct kills DO add to the final points (probably does not get the x2 bonus, however.). Cmdr team scores, such as capture flags, revive, resupply, kill assists, I have no idea --- but I highly suspect it does NOT add to the total score at all.
Several people here argued that artillery kills will reduce enemy tickets, I can neither prove or disprove it. But it seems to me that at least, artillery kills do NOT add to cmdr scores. (contrary to what that site says.)
The other subtle but important point is that the raw cmdr score is :
member combat score gained / # of LIVE team members.
Here that LIVE is a tricky word, and I tend to explain it as the ones actively fighting in the map, not the ones waiting for respawn. I cannot strictly prove it. But my experience is that the cmdr usually get the highest score when the enemy team is stronger in personal skills (higher kills etc.), but less organized and thus lose the game. This way, your team members get killed more often and thus you are benefiting from a smaller denominator all the time, and thus a higher raw score. It happens to me many times --- when my team is very strong, I usually get so so scores as cmdr (#3 or 4 of the team score list), but when the team is average and weaker, I usually get to #1. (and since as a cmdr, my score is only relative to the members, the only explanation seems to be the above) And if it is so, I think it makes sense as well ---- because when a weaker team wins, the cmdr apparently contributed more than leading a stronger team to win.
