a few possibilites

are you sure that is coolant?
if so, you might have a cracked radiator hose or cracked radiator, cooling system requires proper pressure to work properly. if there is a leak, the coolant will be boiling, and it might come out from the reservoir.
if it is the not the same color as your coolant. then you might have something else that is leaking, such as transmission fluid
