I completely regret join this santa clause activity. we usually buy most the things he wants during the year. as he grows older, he starts to compete with his friends and classmates, tried to be really good and ask for expensive things, even I told him that it is not important what he gets. But how a kid felt when others got x-box, PS-3, cell phone, flat screen tv, wii etc, and he only got games. do you tell him that he was not as good as other kids during the year? even he likes his gifts, but i still could see he was disappointed. he has PSP and gamecube, all brought for his birthday, and he wants wii this year, which is completely sold out in the store, and sell almost $600 in the ebay. so, i decided to tell him the truth, and tell him that we can wait after the holiday to get wii, which only cost $250. x'mas is not a holiday for shopping, even we don't believe its religion meanings, we celebrate it as family getting together. so, i told him that he still can get a suprise gift from mom and dad. he is very happy about it.
