I have similar experience to the Lou Zhu below. My brother married a girl with liver disease. She didn't tell him at all. If she had told him, he could have got shots and preventions. Only when she was pregnant, the doctor found out about it. At first she even said it might be my brother's fault. But none of our family members has this disease. Later her sister and brother died of liver cancer. Her father died of liver cancer long ago. So my poor brother has it now. My mom and I are very upset but they love each other. Even my brother isn't too nice to me because I was too cautious when I visited them in China. Sigh! I guess it's fate. My brother is very handsome with a good job. There were many girls who wanted to marry him but he chose her and adored her. So I totally understand Lou Zhu's feeling now. Still, her brother is better than mine since she didn't give her disease to him. However, luckily, my niece didn't get it due to their precautions.
