it's good to be around dogs

I heard kids grow up with pets have less chance to develop allergies and they'll have stronger immunity. So why not start it from being pregnant. If I were you, I would have no concern being around dogs. In fact, if you love dogs, you'd be happy working with them everyday and your mood will be always good during pregnancy.
