Forgot to report Tax

3年前来美国留学，家里担心这边有什么意外，所以带过来一些现金。
后来又急用，用了一点。现在工作了，打算把钱还给爸妈。
突然想起来，当时报税的时候没有报，这会不会有问题啊？
有什么好地解决方案吗？
