Someone posted an email claimed from you, to smear me.
In year 2000, in D.C., after the ceremony celebrating you were elected as the greatest sociologist in the 20th century (U.S.), I shook your hands congratulated you and asked you two questions. The first question is: "There are some similarities between your world system perspective and Mao's theory of three worlds. You influenced Mao, or Mao influenced you, or
you two did not know each other?" You answered: "Of course Mao influenced me."
However, from the email someone posted in the internet, you said you do not think so. Would
you be so kind giving a clarification?
