把modem搬到了另一房间,上不了网

俺把modem搬到了另一房间,拿根cable接到墙上的cable jack,可却没有了internet connection, 难道modem换个房间都要找提供high speed internet的cable公司么? 当初是让他们把modem放到书房,那个房间没问题
