in school gets to know this! Try to give incentives to let her become independent: have a little night light on in her room so she won't fear of darkness, talk/read/hug a lot before going to bed so she feels be loved and satisfied. Award her everyday if she sleeps by herself the previous night, a bigger ( go to a movie etc) award if she continue to sleep for, let's say 3 nights in a row by herself, etc. Anyway, if you are determined to do it, you will find ways that work for you.
