I bought him a DS as a reward for his good scores and then he got so many Bs, Cs and even Ds back. From then on I found his math is really weak. Esp. he took SAT for the talent search, the results appaulled me when compared to other kids who took the test for the same program. Maybe I have to accept he is a normal kid without high IQ. But as a mom I want the best for him.

My second son is 5 but he is very attentive. His math and English are very good. Maybe I learned a lesson from my older son's case(I was too busy with schoolwork and job and ignored helping him with his school work or giving him extra work or help when he was little.) So start early. It's not late when your son is only 5.
