HELP!!! 如何找个图书馆或CITY工作？或书店?

I'm a super busy working mother with a 2.5 little girl. Think about changing job to better take care my daughter for a while. My daughter cried yesterday at daycare and said "Miss mom" to her teacher. I realized I have to get a non-travel job to be able to have more time with her. I don't have other way out. However,
How can I find a job in library or city? I went to city web site, doesn't seem listed. And I don't see those type of job in Monster.com.

Do I need a library degree to be able to work in library?

What about a job in bookstore? Do I have to go store by store to find it?
