I skate with my daughter. I agree with the other two: Inline skating is the way to go. And don’t buy cheap ones. They would kill the fun. I bought a pair from Toys R Us for my daughter, and she could never match my speed, and she always complained that I had better pair. Then I got her a better pair, and we can keep with each other since then. Do not be afraid of that they grow out skaters soon. The size is adjustable. They can be used for years to come.
