祝大家中秋快乐! - From Captain Cook

Outside downtown Anchorage's coastal trail along Cook Inlet, stood this statutue of Captain James Cook, one of the most famous travellers in history. Captain Cook here stood tall in subzero (Fahrenheit) temporature, bathed in the first ray of the January rising sun, watching a setting full moon with Mt Sistna (spelling? meaning "Sleeping Lady" in native indian). The inlet was close to frozen, loaded with ice bergs.

At the time the photo was taken, Captain Cook was the only watching the full moon with me in freaking temporature... It was almost 10:00am!

I only think it's fitting to share Captain Cook's full moon with you at 中秋.
