discussion and welcome friendly criticism.

I apologize for not making my point clear. I didn't say that I support Nazism or its promotion. I explicitly stated that I opposed it. I think that this song should be allowed to stick because it is just a plain military song. Checking the words, you don't see any word related to Nazi or Nazinized.

In realty you are not hard to find a website to trade WW2 military items but it doesn't mean that those support Nazism. They were simply providers of the WW2 fans' collection, and all of them denounce Nazism in their websites. The most important thing is that they are allowed to circulate in informal medians only. It is, however, inappropriate to show those items in formal situations. The examples that you listed were perfect example. Unfortunately it is the "sad" part to be famous. All celebrities need to watch their images. Whatever they do impact what people think, and indirectly promote something prohibited.

When I talk about WW2 stuff it should be ok to discuss them from academic and military point of views. The German army was so different from the Japanese ones. They were professional soldiers while the Japanese were a bunch of brainwashed cilians/peasants/beasts with uniforms. Unlike the Japanese the Germans didn't commit atrocities such as NanJin massacre, usage of biological weapons against enemy (the Allied might cover it up but no evidence), severe treatment of POW such as eating the captured alive.

The reasons of war were also different. The Germans fought for "lebensraum", thanks for horrible "Versailles Treaty", while the Japanese tried to enslave the world. The postwar mentalities from both countries also determine which one (Germany) was respectable enemy (In fact Nazi Germany wasn't even our enemy. They instead helped the National Party with army aids and training before the Japanese requested them to leave China) or which one (Japan) was still plagued with hardcored evil.
