I don't think that Venezuela will cut off its oil supply to the US abruptly. It will probably try to speed up its oil trade to China while decreasing its delivery to the US gradually. Oil price is at historical height. Venezuelan can't afford to miss this opportunity to pile up its national revenue.

My concern is that how long this president can stay in power. Given the unstable and unpredictable political environment in South America, I am afraid that his successors will simply scrap off what he signs today and lay down different foreign policies.
