AAs and fighters intact by themselves? Are they invulnerable to missles? Enemy bombers have missions to destroy ground installations while the enemy fighters provide bombers with cover from opposing fighters. Generally, bombers are slow and fighters are fast. Using fast fighters to lure away bombers, then lure the bombers toward 1 AA while other AA hides by turning off radar and rely on AWACS and the 1 AA with active radar (information sharing). It is definitely doable. Remember some enemy fighters do have a radius of 1800 miles therefore they could fly without land or navy support if the missions calls for some sort of sortie to clear the way ahead of naval landings or ground operations.
