In this critical time, US still doing this is a big no-no. Too

much attentions in the world are focusing on this conflict and they will see US double dealings as sinister. It's not going to help US' image at all. Even if US is doing business with Lebanese army, that won't guarantee Lebenese won't use it against further Isreali intrusions. This is very dangerous act as the ceasefire still hadn't been worked out yet.
