My baby went to bed around 11PM until he was at about 2 months old - I got so tired of going to bed at midnight and tried the following "strategy": no naps after 4PM but lots of play - tummy time, rolling over, story time, dancing to music, walks, etc to completely exhaust him - I let him cry for milk but did not give him right away either. Then at about 7 or 8PM, he got exhausted and very hungry (so was I) - I fed him, gave him a bath, and put him to bed and he slept through the night. I did it for a week and then it has become his habit to go to bed at 8PM.
No solids yet. Our PD recomends that we wait till he is 5 months old for concern of allergy at younger age. I guess doctors are different and ours are very conservative.
