Anyone notice the trend

when the oil price fall, the transportation sector gets hot. And when oil is hot transportation sector hurts. but how to profit from it? I brought VLO a week ago (I know, I know, it's not the best out there, but the TA seemed to be good.), because I feel like oil price is low 69 range. But only in a few days oil price going from high to low. It's too hard to clock the market. any idea?
