If it is long cut, you need 4 new tires.

Here is how to do it.
Use spare tire for one of the flat. Use jack to hold the car while you take both tirs off.
Bring the two flat tires to a tire shop but 4 tires and put 2 new tires on them.
Put the new tires on your car and drive the car to the same shop to get other two tires changed.
You always want to change 4 tires at same time if you ever change tires.
