We will go there look for a house soon. Have you had any experience with the U of I employee credit union, or, Revere Mortgage?

A $300,000 house, let's say, is there any space for negotiation? or it all depends. We are focusing on Cherry hill and Robeson meadow west area as you suggested, hoping that our kids can get into Barkstall or Bottenfield. Any suggestion for the third choice school? Barkstall's fall term starts around July 21, we might be too late for it.

Are we paying the real estate agent, or the seller pay her?

We are first time home buyers. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
