I am reading the "Raising musical kids",

recommended by passerby (if I remembered correctly). The author gave a list of all kinds of music for the entire family to enjoy, one is water music by Handel. We happen to have this one, so we are listening to this now.

He suggests that you discuss with kid what this music make you think of, like riding a horse, flowing on water, happiness, whatever.

He also suggests that parents do not limit what kind of music kids are exposed to, i.e., don't just show them the ones that you like.

I know nothing about music, just copy what he said, which seems to make sense to me.
